Please can you let me know if those times suit you and which session will be best for you? Our first training session will be on the Tuesday 7th February with Wordsworks from 9:00 – 12:00at a venue in (There will be no session at Perivale on the 7th February) Lastly on the 26th January I will be at Perivale making resources – laminating, colouring, cutting etc from 9 – 1pm. Be a Bottomup MVP Teacher!Hi Friends
Happy New Year! May all your hopes, dreams and visions for 2012 be realised.
For 2012, Bottomup is taking a new approach to nurturing the creative arts and skills at schools. To this end we're launching a "community teacher" programme - giving volunteers the opportunity to directly interact with learners in a four-week long programme (1 afternoon per week).
The concept is simple:
If you're skilled at guitar, building rockets, doing sugar art etc...take what you know and put it into four beginner's lesson plans that you can teach to 5 learners max -> come to school 1 afternoon for 4 weeks to present your class (afternoons). Bottomup will print out certificates and host a graduation ceremony for the kids who participate and you'll be awarded as a Bottomup 'MVP' citizen teacher.
This is an awesome way to contribute to creating a better future for our country and it's only a 4-week commitment so it can fit snug into your timetable.
If it sounds like something you're keen to be part of, hit me up with an email to:
