One of the challenges faced by learners in Bottomup partner schools is the lack of stationery.

Teachers will often use their own money to purchase extra writing books or pencils for learners to use.

School bags and stationery are such basic necessities for proper schooling but not all learners have them.

As a response to this need, the Invia.org.za community has decided to run the 'Pak 'n Tassie' (Pack 'n School bag) campaign

over the present school quarter (ending December 9th). Here is how you can get involved:

1. Sponsor a School Bag by giving R150

2. Buy a school bag and fill it with the following supplies:

• 3 pencils (HB)
• 3 blue pens
• eraser
• sharpener
• ruler
• safety scissors (blunt-nosed)
• 2 writing/exercise books
• exam pad
• pritt
• 1 set of coloured pencils
• 10 'filing' sleeves
